Thelma Louise Attix Pryor, 91
Thelma Louise Attix Pryor passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022.
Mrs. Pryor was born Oct. 24, 1930, the daughter of the late Earl Short Attix and Mary Elizabeth Masten Attix. She was a life long resident of Dover. She was delivered at home by Dr. David Deakyne and was named Thelma after his wife, and Louise after her mother's sister.
Mrs. Pryor started working her junior year of high school at The Farmers Bank of the State of Delaware in downtown Dover, and she was a 1948 graduate of Dover High School. She continued working at the bank until the birth of her first child in 1960. She married Wayne Pryor on October 20, 1951 and was married for 55 years until his passing in 2006.
Beside her parents and husband; she was predeceased by her sisters, Isabel Jarman, Emily Woodall; and her brothers, William, Gilbert and Donald Attix. She is survived by her two children, son Ricky of Dover and daughter and son in law Pam and Larry Williams of Houston, Texas; two sisters, Clara Gravatt and Mary Joan Pratt, both of Dover; brother, Robert Attix of Clayton; many nieces and nephews including her namesake Thelma Gravatt Wright of Harrington.

Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m., Monday, Feb. 14, 2022 at Trader Funeral Home, 12 Lotus Street, Dover, services will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Smyrna.

Dr. Wellford Warriner Inge, Jr.,
DOVER - Dr. Inge was born in Richmond, Virginia on October 16, 1936 son of the late Wellford Warriner and Iva Jeanette Inge. He passed away on January 28, 2022 in Milford at Delaware Hospice.
Prior to his graduation in 1954 at Greensville County High School he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. In 1958 he graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor of Science from Hampden Sydney College and was a member of Theta Chi fraternity, Chi Beta Phi Science Honor Society, and Pi Delta Epsilon Journalism Honor Society. He ran cross country for 1 year, served as the Kaleidoscope yearbook editor for four years and was a student assistant in chemistry for four years. On August 2, 1958 he married Elizabeth Ann Jones. In 1962, he graduated with his Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Virginia and was a member of the Phi Chi National Medical Fraternity. He interned at the Medical College of Virginia in 1963 and completed a six year surgical residency at the University of Cincinnati in Ohio where he was Chief Resident from 1968-1969. Upon completion of his residency, he served a three year tour of duty at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas caring for the critically burned patients of the Vietnam War and was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. During his tour, he researched and published several articles and book chapters that were presented at symposia/conferences including the Journal of Trauma September 1971 "Circulatory Change Following Circumferential Extremity Burns Evaluated by the Ultrasonic Flowmeter: an Analysis of 60 Thermally Injured Limbs."
In 1972 he joined the surgical practice of Dr. James McNinch, Dr. Keith Hamilton, and the staff of Kent General Hospital (now Bay Health) in the practice of general, thoracic, and vascular surgery. He was a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and of the Southeastern College of Surgeons as well as a member of the Medical Society of Delaware. In 1978, he served as the Vice President of the Kent County American Cancer Society and as Patient Service Chairman from 1982-1983. He retired in 2001.
During his medical career, he also served from 1980-1996 on the Caesar Rodney School Board and was elected Vice President 1985-1987 and 1994-1996. He was a volunteer team physician for the Caesar Rodney Football Team and Marching Band. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and later Wyoming United Methodist Church where he served on various church committees. Additionally, he was a long time member of the Camden/Wyoming Rotary Club.
Well enjoyed travel, theater, reading, woodworking, philately, fine dining, and the daily Jumble. Forever a student, he enjoyed learning and was self taught in many areas. Most of his pleasure was derived from family and friends throughout his life and being "Daddy Doc" to his grandchildren. His love of animals endeared him to his current "fur baby", Cody.
He was preceded in death by his youngest daughter, Elizabeth Inge Neary; and grandson, Colin Martin Neary.
He is survived by his sister, Jackie Inge Flynn; his wife of 64 years, Betty; and four children, Susan Inge Crowgey (James), Laurie Inge Tams (Brian), Wellford Warriner Inge III (Kim), Paul Conrad Inge (Tonia); and son-in-law, Sean E. Neary. He leaves behind 14 grandchildren, Beth Crowgey Layfield (Blake), Theresa Crowgey Seay (Winn), Caitlin Crowgey Amirzadeh (Sean), Sarah Crowgey Gillon (Marcus), Sean, Leah, and Claire Tams, Mark, Katherine, and Melissa Inge, Kevin, Brendan, and Jennifer Neary, and Halie Readores (Inge); additionally four great grandchildren, Sophia and James Layfield, Winn Seay, and Scarlett Gillon.
The family would like to acknowledge and thank his caregivers at Delaware Hospice, Nurse Practitioners Peggy and Stacey as well as Donna (RN), Tina (night CNA), and Abby (RN).
Visitation will be held Friday, February 4, 2022 from 1-2 p.m. at Wyoming United Methodist Church with service to follow at 2 p.m. Masks are required of all mourners per family wishes.

Julia Errer
DOVER - Julia M. Errera passed away peacefully Thursday, February 3, 2022 surrounded by loving family.
Mrs. Errera was born February 29, 1932 in Bainbridge, New York to the late Joseph and Mary Amorella. Julia graduated high school in New York and continued her education in cosmetology.
In 1953 she married her beloved late husband Eugene J. Errera. Shortly after they relocated to Delaware where they started their family. Julia thrived as a homemaker and mother of their four children. She was later employed through the State of Delaware as a school bus aid where she retired from. She was an avid bowler and a long time member of the Rising Sun Club and Ruitan Club. Julia enjoyed cooking, animals, flowers and most importantly her family.
In addition to her parents and husband; she was preceded in death by her son, John A. Errera; and daughter, Doreen M. Kitchen.
She is survived by her son, Joseph E. Errera; and her daughter, Anita Errera; sister-in-laws, Gloria Pleasanton (Tom) and Elieen Masino (Tom); grandchildren, Uriah Cambell Kitchen, IV, Reanna Kitchen, Nicholas Errera (Casey), Sara Kitchen; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Julia's life will be celebrated on what would of been her 90th birthday, February 28, 2022 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Trader Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Holy Cross cemetery.
